Firstly I would like to apologise to everyone for not replying to all of the really awesome comments you've all made on my latest posted images and for not commenting on your images. I've read each comment and looked at each of your submissions daily. But time has been one of my most precious assets these past few weeks and will be even more so going forward. As you all know I've been focusing on self training with an eye on wedding photography as my new passion in life. So every spare evening and weekend that I have has been dedicated to that. 3 Months down the line and I feel I've only just touched the tip of the ice berg. And although I've given myself a year to prepare before venturing out into the cut throat world of wedding photography, the more I study, the more I observe and look at the amazing work of other wedding photographers, the greater my passion has become and the more eager I am to start out on my own. But that will mean more time spent on preparing in a shorter space of time. Basically what I'm saying is screw the one year plan, I want to do wedding photography and I want to do it NOW!!!...

Which brings me to my 2nd point. Since my focus on photography has changed so drastically, I'm going to be culling about ¾ of the deviants  whose work I currently watch as I'll be starting to add more and more wedding photographers to my list of watches. I need to focus on my new passion and spend time learning from those whose work inspire me as wedding photographers. I am so sorry if I offend anyone by doing this, I hope that you will understand.

I will still be doing the odd studio shoot, mostly shoots that have already been discussed and scheduled for the next few months, but that will no longer be my main focus, or passion. Which means that I'll be posting more and more wedding photo's going forward, especially when I start doing my own weddings. I know that by doing that I will also lose a lot of supporters of my current work and I fully understand that. I will never take it personal or hold it against you if you eventually remove me altogether. Needless to say it would be awesome if you don't and you share my new journey with me..

I'm also meeting a web designer on Saturday for a new web site and blog. I'm super excited about that. Once that's up and running I'll make the links available and you'll be able to follow me on my new and exciting wedding photography journey..

It's time for change and I for one cannot wait to see where this leads me. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be your photographer on your wedding day...
