I've never written a journal just for the hell of it so I guess now is as good a time as any..

What's been happening on the shoot front? Nothing. And that's the problem. I had the cowboy shoot pending for 3 months now. But something always happened to prevent it from happening, Either the model was sick, in an accident or otherwise indisposed or the weather was bad. My last attemtp was this past Saturday but we woke to pouring rain. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the rain, but not when I want to do an on location shoot! Anyhows, so I've finally given up on the idea and have indefinately postponed it to next year March - Autum - when I'm more certain of the weather. That being said, I do have 5 upcoming shoots over the next couple of months. Not much but I'm not complaining..

In 6 weeks time we'll be on leave and going down to Cape Town for a week - again! But this time we'll have Donna (known to our common friends on DA as Redwoody) and James!!! It will be the highlight of our year. We cannot wait to take them to all the sight seeing places we visited during our resent visit to the Cape. Which will also mean that we'll be spending Christmas in Cape Town which should prove to be very exciting!

I've been on a spiritual journey of note and enjoying the ride immensly. Which has resulted in lots of reading, which is not me at all, I don't do reading...lol But if you pick up a book and can't put it down then you know you've got the good stuff..

Oh and I'm going to Kenya for a week this month to give training to the staff of one of our clients. Haven't been there in almost two years. So I'm really looking forward to that. The Kenyan people are so friendly and hospitable. And I'm looking forward to seeing some of the friends I've made there during my previous visits..
